I removed all of my spam blocker software, both server-side and via my email client, to see just how bad things are. With spam blocking software, I get approximately 200 spam emails a day.
Since December 1 - the date I stopped blocking spam, I have received more than 13,000 pieces of spam email. Which is now interspersed with real email, in my inbox. Probably should have considered that issue when I decided to do this. But I am back on spam blockers now, and off to sort 13,000 pieces of email.
On a positive note, expect a LOT more postings on Spam Poetry - I have a years’ worth of raw material now.
