Books, Design, and Recycling: Design Recycling

At least once a week we end up in a bookstore. I don’t know exactly how it happens, but I do know that being married to someone that reads …. really reads, not just the latest James Patterson and Star Magazine….is, in the immortal words of Thakeray, totally awesome.

Stop writing about books! This is a technology blog! But design fascinates me, and to illustrate something I see far too often online, I want to show you some offline examples.

I have a big post about design percolating right now, although frankly, it could probably be boiled down to “do something interesting”, but while I work on that, and while I put together the data analysis for my current research project, here are some fun links for you:

In my left hand desk drawer is a postcard, sent to me by Margaret Atwood. If ever there was a fire in my house, it is entirely possible that this would be one of the things I grab, along with my 200G backup drive and the dog.
